God of all wisdom,
with the prayer your Son taught us always on our lips,
help us so to seek that we may truly find,
so to ask that we may joyfully receive,
and so to knock that the door of mercy
may be opened for us;

What if?! What if what we are hearing today in these scriptures is really true!
Do you ever say or think What if?! I’m not talking about the What If as in - What if the world comes to an end? What if my family doesn’t really care about me… or whatever your favorite worry is… That is one kind of What if…… and it is not usually very fruitful in our lives.
